De-Cluttering Paper!!

As usual I had lots of papers to go through. I have a basket in the living room that I keep mail and other papers in. Well, it finally reached the top so I thought I’d better tackle it since I’m in this cleaning mode. I did two things: filed and tossed! The basket was empty in no time and then I cleared out my desk. More papers were filling the trash can! Yeah!! My desk is clean now and, Lord willing, I hope to keep it that way. It’s so much nicer to work on a clean space. Easier on the eyes and brain!

My son had lots of laundry to do so I offered to do it for him. I also had a lot of our own to do. So, here it is 10:00 and I’m on the last load. BUT–everything is folded and put away. Huzzah!

Galations 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (NIV)

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (NASB)

Lose heart….become weary. That’s how I have been feeling lately with a situation in our home. But the Lord reminded me to not give up; to not grow weary. There are times when I want to; when I feel like there’s no hope but in my reading of the Word, I find these promises:

I can do all things through Him who gives me strength–Philippians 4:13

Why are you downcast O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.

I will put my hope in God.

What say you?
