Ernesto

The remnants of Ernesto are blowing through right now. This is nothing compared to what was left of Hurricane Isabel when she came through. Still…..my backyard is full of leaves and twigs and a few branches–some large!! It’s very windy and the lights keep flickering off and on.

We just heard a loud crack! A huge branch from our tulip tree has snapped off!! It is now wedged onto some branches of another tree. Thankfully it didn’t hit our deck, house or shed. I noticed there was a tree down in our neighbor’s yard.

Well, it looks like this day will not be an ordinary one in Central VA. More later…….

Update: before I got to post, the branch fell taking another large one with it. I’ll try to take some pictures tomorrow.
