From this morning’s Daily Light:
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior. # The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.
When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. # We may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. # Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
For your name’s sake, lead me and guide me.
