Still Here

A quick update to let you know that I am still around. When my computer is back up and running, I will have lots of pictures to upload.

Last Saturday Jessica, Julianne and I went to a wedding of my dear friend Pam’s son, Zach and his new bride, Amy. I have many beautiful pictures and I can’t wait for you to see what vehicle they used to drive away! We had a great time driving to Lynchburg (about 2.5 hours away). When the 3 of us get together it is always fun. šŸ™‚

Homeschool started yesterday and so far (two days!) all is well. Thursday Julianne goes back to Southside Co-Op to start Writing/Literature, World History and Pre-Algebra. I will only be teaching Bible, Science, and Latin at home. Yipee!

Last weekend we finally received some much needed rain. And, boy, did it rain! For almost two straight days it poured. All from TS Fay. This Friday and Saturday we’re supposed to receive more rain along with lots of wind from TS Hanna, although we’re not sure of the track as of yet.

Trish and I will be starting a new book study using Wayne Mack’s Fear Factor. I just received my package tonight so I haven’t had time to look it over but several ladies at church who studied it this summer said it was excellent and life-changing!

Michael will be home Saturday night! Yeah! I hope this week goes faster than the last two. I really miss him. I pray his flight isn’t delayed because of the bad weather we’re supposed to receive.

Lord willing, I will be posting more regularly when I have my schoolroom, desk and computer back!
