The Simple Woman’s Daybook

For Tuesday, March 30, 2010

Outside my window…a sunny day after a few days of rain

I am thankful…for my “servants” that make my life easier…..washer, dryer, bread maker, vacuum, etc.

From the learning rooms…Spring break this week!

From the kitchen…made a egg and cheese sandwich for Julianne; one of her favorite things!

I am pondering…the Lord’s sacrifice on my behalf. It truly is “the great exchange”.

I am creating…the bib is finished and just in time! I found out Sunday that a couple in our church is adopting and the baby is due in late April. I need two more bibs by June.

I am reading…still working through “A Praying Life”.

I am hoping…to accomplish all my spring cleaning in the next few weeks

I am hearing…”Super Nanny” on TV; this show is pretty funny

One of my favorite things…dogs! All kinds!!

Around the house…I need to start working on the yard. It’s supposed to be in the 80’s later this week so I think I’ll spend a day outside!

A few plans for the rest of the week: Dasher to the groomers, grocery shopping, yard work, Fellowship Group

Here is a picture I am sharing… Monticello in the Spring

  1. I saw your blog name a few above mine at the SWD, so thought I would drop by with a visit. 'Love' the name of your blog! My Elliot loves egg & cheese sandwiches too. Simple, healthy, & easy – so I'm for that! What a lovely photo you shared. Have a blessed week, & enjoy celebrating our Lord's resurrection! Hugs

  2. Thank you for commenting at my blog today =) I enjoyed looking through your blog… love the daybook picture from Monticello and the sunflowers from a previous post (I'm so ready for flowers!) Got a smile looking at your busy Monday post ~ reminds me that I need to get serious about decluttering (as well as deeper cleaning) this house!

    Have a blessed week!
