A look at my week:
Homeschooling–finish grading Spanish and History papers; other than that it’s a typical week
Home–besides the usual chores of laundry and general homekeeping, I need to vacuum the filters, steam clean the floors in the hall bathroom and in our bedroom/bathroom. If I get the chance, I’d like to rake the back yard. We’re putting in a fence! No more barking dogs! I’m so happy!!
Kitchen–I have a recipe for Indian Mango Chicken that I’d like to try. I’ll let you know how it turns out. I also need to update my recipe blog. I did a few recipes last week (or the week before).
Not-Ordinary Days–Julianne has an ortho appointment to get her new retainer put on (her bottom teeth have shifted a little and need to be re-aligned); I have an eye appointment on Thursday and hopefully can have lunch with my hubby before I go; Saturday I’m having breakfast with a friend and Julianne is doing a photoshoot in the afternoon. Oh, and in a little while Julianne and I are going shopping for prom accessories: shoes, jewelry, etc.
Reading–well, I put all my other books on hold because a book that I had on hold at the library arrived. It is: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. It’s a fascinating book about a woman whose cells were taken from her without her consent and how those cells have been living ever since and contributing to science. Highly recommended!!
How is your week ahead coming together? I’d love to hear from you!
