I Miss My Dad

  1. I know exactly how you feel. It is so hard isn't it? It's been just over 2 years since I lost my dad. This past weekend was particularly hard because it was our family reunion. I'm witing my dad's “story”, beginning with all the history of the family that we know about…he left me many notes. You can see the link on my blog. Losing a parent has been the hardest thing I've had to deal with in my life so far…and I thought I had some hard things before. But it has served to help me remember how fragile and short life is and to live it more intentionally. The pain you feel will never fully go away, but it does become a little “softer”. May it help to know that others understand and care…

What say you?
